Why Solar Shelter?

Because a clean environment is our birthright. Problem is without clean energy it's business as usual. Drought, pollution, conflict.

This is first drawing. With flat roof. It going be big as 4 ft x 6 ft with 8 ft height. Basically look at your room. Those house ceiling they are 8 ft. So figure how high it is. It going have 6 solar panels. For now, I'll work with 3 solar panels before I decide to add 3 more. The bottom part of shelter could be folded down when not used. When you're using it. Open swing match level with the top side. It's also used as rainwater collect. From top part, it will gutter barrel to another side of the shelter. Bottom just .... shelter of chop wood, supplies, etc.

Back in 2004 I went college and learn how do architecture. I'm glad I did learn some those stuff. Now I'm able to draw more... scale. OK this is not scale. But I got them more straight out. I don't have ruler at this time. But I redesign slight. There's no flat on roof. So whole rainwater can slide all way to gutter for rainwater collect.

I added shelf to front of shelter that one you could put small thing on there like cell phone, radio, candle, or something. I added led light above doorway. It would help to see around during night time. Also I make it clear about bottom power panel could swing out and in. There's wheel under shelter so you could push it around where you want. I was thinking land could be grass or so. I might change wheel to more bigger allowed to pushing on grass more easier.

The day I got the ruler. I decide to use the pizza box to build a scale model. 1 inch = 1 ft. So I made all 4 x 8 as if it's plywood from a store. So I could know how many plywoods I need to build. As far I got far that I need 4 or 5. And I run out of pizza box. I'll keep work on it next time we order something pizza.
